ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.S. RAMESH, J.) Claiming that the petitioner's minor daughter is in the illegal custody of the third respondent herein, the present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed.

2. Today, the second respondent Police has produced the petitioner's daughter, as well as the third respondent herein before us.

3. According to the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 & 2, the petitioner's daughter was born on 21.04.2007 and she has now become a major. He would further submit that on 21.04.2025, after the petitioner's daughter became a major, she had married the third respondent herein and now currently staying with him.

4. The petitioner, as well as his wife are also present before us. We had facilitated them to have an interaction with their daughter. In this background, when a major girl has a conscious decision to marry a person of her choice and live along with him, we may not be justified in entertaining the prayer sought for in this petition.
