, C.SARAVANAN, J., This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to take action and remove the illegal encroachments made by the respondents 4 to 6 in S.No.29/1 to an extent of 0.37.5 ares is classified as Pidari Kovil in the revenue records situated at Kallallipet Village, Gingee Taluk, Villupuram District.

2. Heard Mr.K.Balu, learned counsel on record for petitioner and Mr.J.Ravindran, learned Additional Advocate General assisted by Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3.

3. We are inclined to dispose of this writ petition without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter by directing the third respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 13.10.2022 regarding the alleged encroachment made by the private respondents 4 to 6 herein. It is made clear that before taking any adverse action against the alleged encroachment by the respondents 4 to 6, appropriate notice shall be issued to them.

4. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above directions. There shall be no order as to costs.
