ORDER

This writ petition has been filed in the nature of a Certiorarified Mandamus seeking records relating to a suspension order dated 27.03.2025 passed by the fourth respondent and quash the same and direct the respondents to reinstate the petitioner in the same position as Guest Lecturer in Tamil Department in the fourth respondent.

2. In the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, it had been stated that the writ petitioner was working as Guest Lecturer in Tamil Department in Government Arts and Science College for Women at Veppur, Perambalur District. It had been contended that she has been discharging her duties without any blemish and the utmost satisfaction of her superiors.

3. But unfortunately for her, the students have given a complaint against

not only the petitioner and also other Guest Lecturers. That particular complaint requires examination.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the complainants were girl students and the petitioner and the Principal are also a ladies and therefore, the complaint could not have been given. I am not in agreement with the statement made.

5. Any complaint given by any student will have to be examined about the veracity of the same and during such examination, the petitioner has to remain outside the campus and hence, an order of suspension will have to be passed. It had been so issued. I find no reason to interfere.

6. The writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 17.04.2025 nl Index : Yes/No Speaking order/Non speaking order
