PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, pleased to modify the condition passed by the Hon'ble Judge Special Court under EC NDPS Act case, Salem in the Crl.M.P.No.330 of 2022 dated on 10.05.2022 to conditions (for the like sum and the sureties should be blood related sureties and they should produce documents, to prove their ownership of the property) in Crime No.7 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, NIB CID, Vellore Police Station. O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed by the learned Judge Special Court under EC NDPS Act case, Salem in the Crl.M.P.No.330 of 2022 dated on 10.05.2022 for granting bail.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the only grievance of the petitioner is that the condition imposed by the learned Judge is impractical and it is difficult to produce the blood related sureties and documents to prove their ownership of the property. Hence he seeks some modification.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. The learned Trial Judge has imposed such condition only taking note of the seriousness of the offence charged against the petitioner in NDPS Act. Therefore, mere producing documents worth about Rs.10,000/- cannot be considered as onerous. Hence, I do not find any merit in this petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
