Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a direction in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to conduct counselling for promotion and transfer for Morappur Union and Kadathur Union as a single Unit based on the erstwhile Morappur Union seniority, in accordance with the proceedings of the 1st respondent issued in Na.Ka.No.21243/C3/E1/2023 dated 26.04.2023, without reference to bifurcated seniority based on compulsory absorption, in consideration of representation submitted through Teachers Association dated 27.04.2023 and pass such further orders. This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to conduct counselling for promotion and transfer for Morappur Union and Kadathur Union as a single Unit based on the erstwhile Morappur Union seniority, in accordance with the proceedings of the 1st respondent issued in Na.Ka.No.21243/C3/E1/2023 dated 26.04.2023, without reference to bifurcated seniority based on compulsory absorption, in consideration of representation submitted through Teachers Association dated 27.04.2023.

2. During the pendency of the writ petition, the entire transfer counselling has been cancelled by the respondents. Hence, nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication. Recording the same, the writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
