PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider and pass orders on the representation dated 23.04.2024 submitted by the petitioner requesting to change the proposed Kanchipuram Road bus stop shelter at Vandavasi from the earmarked place namely in front of petitioner's shop property at T.S. Number 70, Ward C of Vandavasi Town, bearing No.6-O, Kanchipuram Road to a suitable adjacent place without affecting the petitioner's shop. ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 23.04.2024 requesting to change the proposed Kanchipuram Road bus stop shelter at Vandavasi from the earmarked place namely in front of petitioner's shop property at T.S. Number 70, Ward C of Vandavasi Town, bearing No.6-O, Kanchipuram Road to a suitable adjacent place without affecting petitioner's shop.
2. Mr.M.R.Gogulakrishnan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the second respondent.
3. Since the petitioner has sought a very limited prayer to consider her representation dated 23.04.2024, this court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent, namely the Municipal Commissioner, Office of the Municipal Commissioner, Kanchipuram Road, Vandavasi, 604 408, Thiruvannamalai District, to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.04.2024, on merits, after affording an opportunity of being heard to the petitioner and dispose of the same, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, the connected writ miscellaneous petition is closed.
