PRAYER : Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 & 2 to have enquiry on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 12.10.2014.

By consent of the learned counsel on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.Heard Mr.T.Arockiadass, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 and Mr.P.Mani, learned counsel appearing for respondents 3 & 4.

3.The petitioner has come forward with this writ petition for issuance of writ of mandamus to direct the respondents 1 & 2 to have enquiry on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 12.10.2014.

4.According to the petitioner, inspite of his representation, the respondents 1 & 2 have not conducted any enquiry and not passed any orders.

5.Counter affidavit has been filed by the Tahsildar, Uthangarai Taluk, wherein it has been stated that in the representation dated 12.10.2014, the petitioner did not mention the concerned village name properly and the petitioner has been informed vide their office letter dated 21.10.2014 in Roc.8804/2014/B3, to give the correct Village name and if the same is furnished, enquiry will be conducted. 6.In the light of the above, there will be a direction to the petitioner to furnish the correct village name by way of fresh representation along with the copy of this order to the respondents and if the same is furnished, the second respondent shall conduct an enquiry, after notice to the petitioner as well as to respondents 3 &

4. The above exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible. The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(CS-III) //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar
