By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner would state that she belongs to Scheduled Caste community and hailing from very poor family and she has passed 7th Standard. She would further state that on 13.10.2014, she had applied for the post of Anganwadi Helper for Banahalli Anganwadi Centre, Thalavadi Sathyamangalam, Erode District based on the advertisement caused by the second respondent. The petitioner would further state that she was temporarily employed as Anganwadi Helper in the above-said centre right from 19.7.2014 and consequently, she is the fittest and eligible person to be appointed to the said post. However, since no steps have been taken to fill up the said post, the petitioner had submitted a representation dated 27.6.2015 to the first respondent. Though it was acknowledged, no orders have been passed and hence, the petitioner came forward to file this Writ Petition.

3. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned AGP, who accepts notice on behalf of respondents.

4. This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition and without going into the merits of the same, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.6.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
