ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 25.02.2021 for grant of patta.

2. Earlier, on 27.07.2021, the learned Government Advocate was directed to get instructions with regard to the status of the application.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up, the learned Government Advocate, on instructions from the respondent/Tahsildar, would submit that the petitioner's application is pending with the Tahsildar and he will conduct enquiry and pass suitable orders within short time.

4. Considering the above said submission, , without going into the merits of the case, the respondent is directed to proceed with the enquiry on the petitioner's representation and pass suitable orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving opportunity to the petitioner as well as other interested parties, if any, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
