By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner retired as Supervisor Grade-II from Child Development Project Office, Kundadam, Dharapuram Taluk Erode District and while she was in service, subscriptions were deducted from her pay towards Contributory Pension Scheme under CPS No.7105877/Misc.

3. The grievance now expressed by the petitioner is that though she was retired from service as early as 31.8.2012, the amount due and payable towards Contributory Pension Scheme has not been disbursed to her and in this regard, she has submitted a representation dated 15.4.2014 to the respondent. Since no response is forthcoming, the petitioner came forward to file this Writ Petition.

4. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned AGP, who accepts notice on behalf of respondent.

5. Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.04.2014 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
