Respondents Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to pay the retention amount security deposit of 2 1/2 (two and a half percent) of the total value of the work as far executed amounting to a sum of Rs.4,48,750/- as a outstanding amount along with interest at a rate of 18% percent till the realisation of the amount.
