Heard Mr. C.Manohar Gupta, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. S.T.Varadharajulu, Learned Counsel for the Second Respondent and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties. 2.

The Writ Petition has been filed challenging the award dated 03.10.2016 passed in I.D. No. 164 of 2014 by the First Respondent, Additional Labour Court, Vellore.

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and the Second Respondent submit that after the filing of the Writ Petition, the parties have entered into a settlement dated 12.12.2019 under Section 18(1) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, and its copy has been placed on record, which shall form part and parcel of this order. It is further represented that in compliance of the interim order dated 12.07.2017 passed by the Court, the Petitioner had remitted a sum of Rs. 1,00,979/- before the First Respondent and that the Second Respondent agrees that the Petitioner could withdraw the same. In view of the same, the Petitioner is entitled to withdraw the said amount with accrued interest by filing necessary applications before the First Respondent. 2/4

In fine, the Writ Petition is disposed on the aforesaid terms. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs. 08.06.2022 Maya Index: Yes/No Note: Issue order copy by 16.06.2022.
