O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the charge sheet in S.C.No.9 of 2024 on the file of Fast Track Mahila Court, Krishnagiri and to record the compromise.

2. Heard the learned counsel for petitioner and learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. The alleged offence said to have taken place in the year 2013. The 2nd respondent/defacto complainant is present before this court along with her counsel. They have filed a Joint Compromise Memo before this court. It is further informed by the counsels that both parties have parted their ways and they have got married. Therefore, no useful purpose would be served in proceeding further with the case foisted against the petitioner in S.C.No. 9 of 2024. Both the petitioner and 2nd respondent/defacto complainant have also signed in the Joint Compromise Memo dated 06.04.2024. Para 4 of the said Joint Memo reads as follows :- "4. The petitioner and the 2nd respondent states that he and 2/5

the said Alamelu on bearing their future in mind, they decided to settle the issue amicably and thereby pursuant to the above compromise, the petitioner and the 2nd respondent filing this joint memo of compromise with their full conscious and on their own will and without any coercion in support of this quash application and the 2nd respondent herein are having no objection to quash the above case in S.C.No. 9 of 2024 on the file of Fast Track Mahila Court, Krishnagiri."

4. The concerned persons involved are also present before this court. They have no objection for recording the compromise. Recording the same, the complaint in S.C.No.9 of 2024 is quashed. The Joint Compromise Memo shall form part and parcel of this order.
