ORDER

Claiming issuance of free house site patta, the petitioners made a representation on 10.07.2015. On its non-consideration, the present writ petition has been filed.

2.Considering the very same issue in W.P.No.32063 of 2014, on 08.12.2014, this Court has passed the following order: "The petitioners are said to be in possession and enjoyment of the property to the extent of 0.04 cents of Government poramboke land, in which they have also said to have been constructed a small house. Seeking grant of patta, the petitioners have made a representation on 02.12.2013. As no orders have been passed, the present writ petitions have been filed.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the second respondent may be directed to consider the request for grant of patta on the representation of the petitioners dated 02.12.2013. 3.Considering the submission made and without going into the merits of the case, the writ petitions are disposed of by directing the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioners within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. Till the final orders are passed, the status quo shall be maintained as on today. No costs."

3.Considering the above, the writ petition stands disposed of on the very same terms by directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.07.2015 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
