O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus seeking direction to the fourth respondent to give a copy of the CCTV video footage recorded from 25.02.2025 to 28.02.2025 at the location where the petitioner's husband death occurred, based on her representation dated 08.04.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent- Police and perused the materials available on record.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner made a representation dated 08.4.2025 before the respondent-Police requesting to take steps to review the CCTV footage from the location where the petitioner's husband death occurred, in order to determine the

cause of death of the petitioner's husband. The respondent has neither complied with nor replied to the petitioner's request. Hence the petitioner filed this writ petition.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the submission made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court directs the fourth respondent-Police to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.04.2025 and provide the copy of CCTV footage as requested by the petitioner.

5. With the abovesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. 04.06.2025 mfa Index:Yes/No Speaking Order: Yes/No
