This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to direct the respondents to register the petitioner's complaint dated 21.10.2015 lodged with the respondent immediately and to investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. The petitioner has lodged a complaint as against one Ameedu, Thanraj, Ponganesh and others on the allegation of wordy quarrel and abusing him with filthy language. Since no action has been taken so far, the present petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the respondent police to conduct the enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 21.10.2015. If the materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

offence, the respondent police is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.

5. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
