... Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.05.2017 and pass necessary orders for payment of salary and other benefits to the petitioner for the period of suspension.

The petitioner was placed under suspension on 12th August 2011 and a charge memo was also issued on 22nd September 2011. At this stage, the order of suspension was revoked by the Authorities on 5th January 2012.

2. The sole grievance of the writ petitioner is that in spite of the revocation of the order of suspension, he has not been paid the benefits for which he is entitled as per the Rules.

3. In this regard, he has made a representation to the 1st respondent on 5th May 2017. But, no order has been passed by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Authorities. Hence, the writ petitioner is constrained to move this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.

4. Without going into the merits and demerits of the case, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 5th May 2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The writ petitioner is directed to enclose a copy of this representation along with the order passed in this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. However, there is no order as to costs.
