PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ or order or orders or direction particularly in the nature of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the 1st respondent in respect of the show-cause notice Ref.No.P.VIII-142/2018-EC.3 dated 09.08.2018, quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to drop all further departmental enquiry proceedings based on the order dated 31st July 2018 passed by the Hon'ble Special Judge for CBI cases, Chennai (XII Additional) in CC no.7 of 2014.

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents states that during the pendency of the writ petition, the respondents had withdrawn the show-cause notice issued against the writ petitioner in proceeding dated 09.08.2018.

2. This being the factum, no further adjudication needs to be entertained in respect of the grounds raised in the present writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stand dismissed. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
