By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner claims that she is a widow and also belongs to the Scheduled Caste Community. She is blessed with two daughters and at present, she is working as an agricultural coolie. The petitioner would further state that for getting appointment as Cook Assistant in DELC Primary School, Ilangambur, Kattumannarkoil Taluk, Cuddalore District, she submitted an application to the concerned authority on 14.08.2015 and she has also attended the interview on 25.08.2015. She would further state that she performed very well, however, she
has not been informed of the result of the interview. She submitted a representation dated 24.8.2015 to the respondents praying for appointment to the post of Cook Assistant in the said school. Since no response is forthcoming, the petitioner came forward to file this Writ Petition.
3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that since the petitioner is a widow and belongs to Scheduled Caste Community, she is the only eligible person to be appointed to the post of Cook and prays for appropriate orders.

Per contra, Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the first respondent and Mr.M.Perumal, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the second respondent would submit that admittedly the petitioner was called to attend the interview and she had also participated in the interview and without waiting for the result of the interview, she has rushed to this Court and filed this Writ Petition.
5. This Court heard the rival submissions and also perused the typed set of documents. Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the second respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 24.08.2015 after putting on notice the concerned persons and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the persons concerned.
