O R D E R

The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to investigate and to file a final report in Crime No.727 of 2015 before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Gobichettipalayam against the accused persons, within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner herein has lodged a complaint as against one Lakshmi and 10 others on 05.09.2015. . Based on the said complaint, the respondent police has registered a case in Crime No.727 of 2015 for the offences under sections 147, 294(b), 448 and 306 IPC. But there is no progress in the investigation of the case till date. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present petition.

3. I have heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent police is directed to expedite investigation in the case in Crime No.727 of 2015 and complete the same and file a final report as early as possible.
