This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 8.7.2020, wherein the petitioner has sought for the measurement /survey of the subject properties and to mark the boundaries.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he became the absolute owner of the subject properties by virtue of a settlement deed dated 21.7.1979. The further case of the petitioner is that a patta was also granted in his name in patta No.105. The petitioner wanted the property to be surveyed/ measured by the respondent in order to mark the boundaries. The petitioner submitted an application in this regard. same was not considered, the present Writ Petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.

3. Heard Mr.Annai Muthu Raja, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.Mani Gopi, learned Govt. Advocate appearing for the respondent.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief that has been sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 8.7.2020 and deal with the same strictly in accordance with law and take appropriate action within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the respondent along with a copy of the representation dated 8.7.2020 and a copy of all the relevant documents and also a copy of this order.

6. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
