PRAYER: Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to extend the time to the surety as imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.8507 of 2020 dated 11.06.2020. For Petitioner : Mr.E.Sathiyaraj For Respondent : Mr.M.Mohamed Riyaz Additional Public Prosecutor

(The case has been heard through video conference) This petition has been to extend the time to execute the surety as imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.8507 of 2020 dated 11.06.2020.

2. This Court by order dated 11.06.2020 directed the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.30,000/- within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy was made ready.

3. Today, it is represented that the said amount was not paid within a period of 15 days as directed by this Court. Hence, the order dated 11.06.2020 granting anticipatory bail stands automatically lapsed. In view of the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
