This petition has been filed to release the petitioner on bail in in S.C No. 86 of 2023 on the file of the IV Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai.

2. It is the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that, the petitioner was an accused in S.C No. 86 of 2023 on the file of the learned IV Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai. Petitioner was not able to appear before the Court on 09.02.2023 and the court issued NBW against him. He was arrested on NBW on 28.04.2023 and since then, he is in judicial custody.

3. The prosecution raised objection that the petitioner is having 12 previous cases including three 302 cases and the matter is posted for examination of L.W.2.

4. Considering the bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to allow this petition. However, the trial court is directed to complete the trial within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed. 03.06.2024 pbl
