Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, seeking direction towards the Respondents herein to dispose of the Petitioner's representation dated 27.03.2025 and consequently direct the Respondents 1 and 2 to provide police protection to the Respondents 3 and 4 while surveying the petitioner's property situated in Survey No.463/1, Saravanampatti Village, Coimbatore North Taluk,

Gandhipuram sub registration, Coimbatore District, measuring an extent of 30 cents.

For Petitioner : Mr.W.Camyles Gandhi For Respondents : Mr.A.Gopinath Government Advocate (Crl.side) O RDER This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents herein to dispose of the Petitioner's representation dated 27.03.2025 and consequently direct the Respondents 1 and 2 to provide police protection to the Respondents 3 and 4 while surveying the petitioner's property situated in Survey No.463/1, Saravanampatti Village, Coimbatore North Taluk, Gandhipuram sub registration, Coimbatore District, measuring an extent of 30 cents.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner owned property comprised in Survey No.463/1, admeasuring 30 cents situated at Saravanampatti Village, Coimbatore North Taluk, Gandhipuram sub registration, Coimbatore District. In order to protect the said property, the petitioner wants to fence the same. Therefore, he filed an

application to survey the same with the help of a Surveyor and also paid the requisite fees. When the Surveyor visited the petitioner's property, there was some obstructions by the neighbours and as such, he was unable to survey the property.

4. In view of the above, if the fourth respondent finds any difficulty or obstructions while surveying the petitioner's property, he can very well lodge a complaint before the second respondent seeking police protection while surveying the petitioner's property. On receipt of the same, the second respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry and pass orders to provide adequate police protection to the fourth respondent while surveying the petitioner's property, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the complaint.

5. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
