This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the case pending against the petitioner in C.C.No.30 of 2010 on the file of the XI Additional Sessions Special Court for CBI Cases (Bank Fraud) Chennai.

The learned Special Public Prosecutor(CBI cases) appearing for the respondents submitted that after registering a regular case in FIR No.14(E)/2009/CBI/EOW/Chennai, dated 04.09.2009, the final report was filed before the Special Court and the Court has taken cognizance, after framing charges. the case on verge of completion, after examining 31 witnesses on the side of prosecution. In addition, there is no representation for the petitioner. Hence, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
