This petition has been filed seeking direction to the learned

Judicial Magistrate, Perundurai to take appropriate orders for speedy trial in CC.No.23 of 2018 in crime No.531 of 2017, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Perundurai, Erode within the stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed on record.

3. The respondents registered a criminal case in crime No.531 of 2017. Thereafter, final report was filed before the learned Magistrate concerned. Since the same has not been in progress even after taking cognizance, the petitioner filed this petition.

4. Considering the limited prayer sought for in this petition, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Perundurai, Erode is directed to complete the Trial in CC.No.23 of 2018, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
