Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, seeking a direction to the first respondent to provide police protection to the petitioner management, staff, students and their properties and ensure that the 2nd respondent and its members are 300m away from the main gate and maintain law and order, peace in and around the college. This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to provide police protection to the petitioner - College management, staffs, students and their properties and ensure that the 2nd respondent and its members are 300m away from the main gate and maintain law and order, peace in and around the college.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that some of the drivers of the petitioner - College bus have raised an industrial dispute and thereafter, they are preventing free ingress into the college and thus, affecting the day to day administration of the college, especially, when the University examinations are going on. In this connection, the petitioner has given a complaint, based on which, a petition enquiry is pending in CSR.No.183 of 2018.

3. In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry in CSR.No.183 of 2018 and ensure that there is no violence near the institution and no one is causing obstruction for free entry and exit for the students, teachers and staff and their vehicles in and out of the petitioner Institution. If the second respondent wants to have any dharna, they can peacefully demonstrate 300m away from the main gate, without causing any disturbance.
