Respondents in both petitions Prayer: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a writ of mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to draw a seniority list for promotion to the post of Village Administrative Officer considering the date of joining for fixing the seniority as per G.O.Ms.No.254 Revenue dated 09.07.2015 and consequently promote the petitioners as Village Administrative Officers from Village Assistant forthwith.

COMMON ORDER Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that after filing the writ petitions, the petitioners came to know that the seniority list has been finalised and seeks permission of this Court to withdraw these writ petitions with liberty to challenge the said seniority list in accordance with law and also made an endorsement in the petitions to that effect.
2.Accordingly, the writ petitions are dismissed as withdrawn. Liberty as sought for by the petitioners, is granted. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are also dismissed.
