O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the representation dated 20.02.2024 to conduct and dispose of the enquiry pertaining the petitioner's dowry complaint within a stipulated time frame fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the second respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. Since no adverse order is passed as against the private respondents, notice to the private respondents is dispensed with.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side and taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the writ petitioner in this Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.02.2024 and conduct enquiry in the manner known to law and pass appropriate orders on merits in accordance with law. The abovesaid exercise shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the abovesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of in the admission stage itself. There shall be no order as to costs. 08.05.2024 mfa Index:Yes/No Speaking Order: Yes/No
