ORDER

It is seen from the records that a sale deed was executed in favour of the petitioner on 16.07.1974. She in turn sold the property situated in R.S.No.136, Periya Veerasangili Village, Perundurai Taluk, Erode District, to an extent of 2.85 1/2 acres in favour of one Sivashanmugam. On 10.07.2013, the petitioner made a representation to the fourth respondent alleging that the said land is not meant to be sold to a non-scheduled caste person. Therefore, in the said representation, she has stated that the land should be given back to her. The fourth respondent, pursuant to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

proceedings of the third respondent dated 06.12.2013, has directed the fifth respondent to send a report. As no further action has been taken, the present writ petition has been filed. 2.Taking into consideration pendency of the representation made by the petitioner, as seen from the proceedings of the fourth respondent dated 06.12.2013, the said authority is directed to pass appropriate final orders, after affording an opportunity to the petitioner as well as the private parties including the person to whom the petitioner has sold the land, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
