This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to register the complaint dated 11.04.2015 and to take necessary action against the said person in accordance with law and for proper investigation into the matter.

2. The petitioner herein lodged a complaint as against the President of Tamilnadu Veedu Illathoor Nala Peravai Sangam on the allegation of misappropriation of funds. Though the said complaint was lodged as early as on 11.04.2015, no action was taken till date. Hence, the present petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on receipt of the complaint from the petitioner, C.S.R.No.176/2015 was assigned and the petition enquiry is pending.

5. Considering the submission made on either side and that C.S.R.No.176/2015 was assigned on the complaint given by the petitioner and the same is pending enquiry, this Court directs the respondent police to conduct the enquiry in CSR.No.176/2015 and if the materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence, the respondent police is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible. In the course of enquiry, if no prima facie is made out, he is directed to pass appropriate orders on the complaint made by the petitioner.

6. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
