Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner representation dated 29.04.2019 against 3rd respondent to hold the post of Principal after giving personal hearing to the petitioner as well as the 3rd respondent herein, within the time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

It is stated by the petitioner that he is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science Engineering, Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Karaikal, Puducherry from January 2009

2. The third respondent is holding the post of Principal on incharge basis in the said Institute of Engineering and Technology, according to the petitioner, without required qualifications. In this connection, protesting against that, particularly since the third respondent has continued to be the Principal for past more than ten years and holding the post as incharge alone, a representation had been given on 29.4.2019.

3. Mr.J.Kumaran, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the first and second respondents.

4. The first and second respondents are directed to pass independent orders on the representation dated 29.04.2019 after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to both the petitioner and also the third respondent. At any rate, this exercise is to be completed on or before 31.07.2019.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
