Respondents Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to consider the representation sent by the petitioner dated 26.09.2013 and also to direct the respondents to issue patta in the name of the petitioner.

ORDER
Heard M/s.S.Suseela Devi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.P.Rajalakshmi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents and with their consent, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.
2.The petitioner seeks for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the 3rd respondent to consider the representation sent by the petitioner dated 26.09.2013 and also to direct the respondents to issue patta in the name of the petitioner.
3.The petitioner claims that her husband settled the property in her favour and she wants patta to be granted in her name by changing Patta No.448 which is issued in the name of the petitioner's husband Theerthalingam. However, a copy of the said Patta No.448 has not been enclosed in the typed set of papers.
4.It is seen that the District Revenue Officer/2nd respondent herein has directed the Tahsildar/3rd respondent herein, to look into the petitioner's representation dated 26.09.2013 vide his proceedings dated 24.07.2014.
5.In the light of the above, without going into the merits of the petitioner's contentions, there will be a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.09.2013 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.The writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
