When the matter came today, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that already the petitioner had deposited 20% of the cheque amount and in view of his financial situation, he could not make the balance deposit of 30%. Learned counsel submits that, if twelve weeks' time from today is extended, he will deposit the amount.

2. Learned counsel for the respondent seeks time to get instructions.

3. However, considering the facts and circumstances of the case, I am of the view that the time can be extended for the petitioner to deposit the amount.

4. Twelve weeks' time is extended from today to deposit the balance 30% of the cheque amount as ordered by this Court. It is made clear that no further extension of time will be granted. If the petitioner fails to deposit the said 30% within the time extended by this Court,

the suspension of sentence order granted by this Court shall stand automatically suspended and the respondent / complainant will be at liberty to approach the Trial Court to issue / execute warrant, to commit the petitioner to prison. 18.07.2022 drm
