This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to register the FIR upon the petitioner's complaint dated 01.08.2016 and investigate the same as deem fit.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. On a reading of the complaint dated 01.08.2016, this Court finds that this petitioner had closed down the shop and has given the same to one Gajendran. Now it is alleged by the petitioner, that some articles in the shop are missing. The petitioner has not even given any date in the complaint. Under such circumstances, no positive direction can be issued to register an FIR.
