ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent to register the case based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 20.11.2015, on the file of the respondent and to file the final report within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. The petitioner herein lodged a complaint against one Mohanraj, Anandan, Saravanaperumal, Kadir, Mahendran stating https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

that the petitioner is running a cable TV business by obtaining necessary permission. Due to business rivalry, the said Mohanraj along with rowdy elements are frequently threatening the petitioner and they have also cut the cable wires and thus, caused loss to the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint with the respondent police. Since no action was taken so far, the present petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

4. Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the respondent police to conduct an enquiry and if materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence, the respondent police is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.

5. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
