Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ or order or direction in the nature of a writ, to forbear the respondents and their men or police personnel from interfering with the petitioners hotel business activities till 03.00 A.M., at Hotel Buhari, No.83 & 84, Anna Salai, Chennai 600 002.

O R D E R

It is seen that the Government has passed an order under G.O.Ms.No.60, Labour and Employment (K2), 28th May 2019, permitting all Shops and Establishment to keep Open for 24 hours all days of the year subject to certain conditions. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

In the light of the above, Government Order passed on 05.06.2019, nothing survives in this Writ Petition. The petitioner shall approach the appropriate authority for necessary permission to open his hotel on compliance of the guidelines framed under the said Government Order. With the above directions the Writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
