The present petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 22.06.2015, inquire into the same and take action in accordance with law.

2. The petitioner herein has lodged a complaint against one Duraiswamy and Ramesh on the allegation of misappropriation and cheating. The said complaint was lodged on 22.06.2015, but no action was taken till date. Hence, the present petition.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the complaint lodged by the petitioner was transferred to Manimangalam Police Station, Kancheepuram District. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Inspector of Police, Manimangalam Police Station, Kancheepuram District, is directed to conduct an enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 22.06.2015. If the materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence, the Inspector of Police, Manimangalam Police Station, Kancheepuram District, is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.

5. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
