This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents 1 & 2 to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 29.06.2021.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, there is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
no representation for the petitioner.
3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the petitioner had given a complaint stating that the respondents 3 to 9 are threatening him through mobile phone. He would further submit that during enquiry it reveals that though the petitioner claims to be the resident of Sowbarnika Nagar, Udumalpet, Tiruppur District, he is not living there for the past six years. Further, it seems that the petitioner had cheated the respondents 3 to 9. The respondents 3, 6, 7 and 8 are the residents of Sivagangai District, respondents 4 and 5 are the residents of Pudukottai District and the respondent 9 is from Madurai district. He would also submit that to avoid the payment, the petitioner had given the complaint and thereafter, he had not appeared for enquiry and as of now, there is no requirement of giving police protection to the petitioner.
4. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
