O R D E R

(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences publishable under Sections 341, 294(b), 323, 307 and 506(ii) of IPC in Crime No.507 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that due to previous enmity a wordy quarrel arose between the petitioners and the defacto complainant, the petitioners abused and attacked the defacto complainant with hands and also threatened him with dire consequences and thereby the defacto complainant sustained injuries. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned Counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are innocent person and they not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and a false case has been foisted against them. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would further submit that ten previous cases pending against the first petitioner out of which one case is murder case and also submitted that one previous case is pending against the second petitioner. Hence he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

5. Taking into consideration the allegations and also the bad antecedent of the petitioners and that the custodial interrogation of the petitioners is essential, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
