Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for the records of the rejection letter of the fourth respondent dated 28.4.2023 and quash the same and direct the respondent to extend the time for one time settlement dated 30.03.2023 and accept the balance payment and release the mortgaged property of the petitioner. ORDER

(Order of the court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.D.S.Ramesh, learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. The prayer made in the present writ petition cannot be considered by this Court. The settlement transaction is between the bank and the petitioner. It is for the bank to consider the request of the petitioner for extension of time, as may be permissible.

3. The petitioner may submit an application for extension of time before the bank and it is for the bank to consider the same.

4. With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.14104 of 2023 is closed.
