O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.05.2023 given by hand and to give adequate police protection to the petitioner and not to vacate her from the residential house situated at No.54, Backside of SMH, Karai, Ranipet, Ranipet District.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that she was married to the 3rd respondent and she got two male children at the age of 3 and 1 year child. While being so, there was a matrimonial dispute between the petitioner and her husband, due to which, the 3rd respondent is continuously harassing her and also threatening her to vacate the house, wherein she is residing with her children. Hence, she lodged a complaint before the 2nd respondent police, however, they have also advised her to go to her parental home at Chennai because of the attitude of 3rd respondent. As she is not having any residential place at Chennai and her mother also residing at road side tent at Chennai, 2/4

she gave further representation dated 02.05.2023, but no steps are taken by the police. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2.

3. I have considered the submissions of learned counsel for petitioner and also perused the records carefully.

4. Considering the limited prayer sought in the Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, the 2nd respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the complaint lodged by the petitioner after issuing notice to the counter parties and register the case within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
