PRAYER :

Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first and second respondents to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 10.05.2019 made by the petitioner herein for taking necessary action against the Respondent Nos.3, 5, 6 and 7 for their illegal and unlawful sanction of salary arrears within stipulated time period.

A representation has been given on 10.05.2019 by the petitioner herein to direct the fourth respondent to conduct Audit Inspection in respect of the salary arrears granted to the sixth and seventh respondents, ignoring earlier audit objections. The second respondent is the Competent Authority to pass orders on this representation.

2. Ms.T.Girija, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the first and second respondents.

3. A direction is issued to the second respondent to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 10.05.2019 on or before 24.05.2019.

4. This Court is conscious of the fact that a very short date is given for considering the representation. Since, the third respondent is retiring by 31.05.2019, the date 24.05.2019 is being fixed by this Court.
