Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on my appeal dated 11.07.2023 by directing the 3rd and 4th respondents to modify the patta in T.S.No.1 (Old S.No.127), Thalakanancherry Village, Alandur Taluk, Chennai from 50 sq.mts. and to 3 cents as per the land assignment order dated 18.03.1974. ORDER
The present Writ Petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus seeking to direct the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on the appeal dated 11.07.2023 by directing the 3rd and 4th respondents to modify the patta in T.S.No.1 (Old S.No.127), Thalakanancherry Village, Alandur Taluk, Chennai from 50 sq.mts. and to 3 cents as per the land assignment order dated 18.03.1974.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr.S.J.Mohamed Sathik, learned Government Advocate would submit that the appeal of the 2/5
petitioner dated 11.07.2023 is pending before the 2nd respondent / District Collector. He would further submit that the appeal will be considered and orders would be passed within a period of twelve weeks. 3.Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
