The petitioners, alleging that they have been falsely implicated by the respondent for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 323 and 506(ii) IPC and Section 3(1)(x) of SC/ST act (P.O.A) Act, 1989 in Crime No.219 of 2010 on the file of the respondent police, seek a direction to the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Salem, to consider the bail application of the petitioners on the same day on their surrender before the Principal Sessions Judge, Salem, in connection with Crime No.219/2010 on the file of respondent police and P.R.C.No.7 of 2012 on the file of Judicial Magistrate II, Mettur, Salem.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. Considering the nature of the prayer sought for and taking note of the fact that the petitioners are prepared to surrender before the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Salem, there shall be a direction to the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Salem, to consider the bail application to be submitted by the petitioners on the same day on their surrender before that Court, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders.

4. The criminal original petition is ordered accordingly.
