ORDER

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal and disposed of by this order.

Mr.C.Kathiravan, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the 1st respondent and Mr.S.Kaushik, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the 2nd respondent.

The present writ petition is filed seeking a mandamus directing respondents 1 and 2 to appoint the petitioner in the post of Panchayat Clerk, in Mangalore Block, Ezhithoor Village, Cuddalore District under the Schedule Tribe and Disabled Quota in terms of the qualification

prescribed in the Notification dated 08.11.2019 in Na.Ka.No.Aa3/2865/2019 of the 2nd respondent. 4.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner will be satisfied if a direction is issued to the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.07.2021 within a stipulated time. 5.

This Court heard the submissions of the respective learned Government Advocates appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and also perused the materials placed.

Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this Court, considering the request now made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation or the case projected by him in this writ petition, directs the 2nd respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 13.07.2021 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner herein.

The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.

Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
