ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to file final report in G-1 Vepery P.S. Cr.No.374 of 2013.

2. It is the case of the petitioner on the basis of the complaint given by one K.Prabhakar as against the petitioner, a case was registered in Crime No.374 of 2013 on 26.4.2013 for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 406, 420 and 506(ii) I.P.C. Though the said complaint was registered on 26.4.2013, till date, final report was not filed. Hence, the petition.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that earlier the de facto complainant viz., K.Prabhakar filed a petition in Crl.O.P.No.16746 of 2015 before this Court seeking a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.374 of 2013, in which a direction has been issued to the respondent police to expedite the investigation and file a final report.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent is directed to investigate the case in Crime No.374 of 2013 pending on his file and file a final report as expeditiously as possible. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
