Elansezhiyan, v. The Revenue Divisional Officer,
and W.M.P.Nos.17131 & 17133 of 2019 V.PARTHIBAN, J.
Though considerable time has been spent on the litigation, this Court is unable to arrive at a decision in view of the nondisclosure of the policy of the Government in regard to the issues projected in the writ petitions. However, prima facie it is appears that the petitioners appeared through Mr.P.Wilson, learned Senior Counsel and submitted that the petitioners have acquired basic Degree by following 10 + 2 + 3 method and also completed Post Graduate Degree thereafter. Subsequently, in order to gain entry into the zone of consideration for promotion to the post of P.G. Assistant (Economics), though they have a Post Graduate in Economics and the requirement was basic degree in Economics on a reverse order, they obtained basic qualification B.A. Degree. 2.In view of the said facts, this Court is of the view that the petitioners have made out a case for grant of interim direction. There shall be an order of interim direction directing the 2nd respondent to include the name of the petitioners in the P.G. Assistant (Economics) promotion 1/2
panel for the year 2018-2019 and to promote the petitioners in the post of P.G. Assistant (Economics), subject to the result of the writ petitions.
