The petitioner made a representation to the respondent no.1 seeking No Objection Certificate for the purpose of assignment of Panchami land situated in Survey No.118/1C2, Othakkalmandapam Village, Coimbatore South Taluk, Coimbatore District. On receipt of the representation of the petitioner dated 09.01.2014, the respondent no.1 has directed the respondent no.2 to conduct an enquiry and file a report. As no further progress is made, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

2.Taking into consideration the above said facts, the respondent no.1 is directed to pass final orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after receiving the report from the respondent no.2, if not already received.
