When the matter came up for hearing today, the second respondent/defacto complainant as well as the petitioner are personally present before this Court and identified themselves.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel for the second respondent and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the first respondent. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that pending proceedings in S.C.No.3 of 2016 on the file of the learned District and Sessions Judge-II, Kanchipuram, the second respondent/de-facto complainant and the petitioner have amicably settled the issue among themselves and the de-facto complainant has also filed an affidavit dated 23.11.2017 stating that he has no objection if the proceedings in S.C.No.3 of 2016 on the file of the learned District and Sessions Judge-II, Kanchipuram is quashed.

4.Recording the submissions made by the defacto complainant in the affidavit filed by him dated 23.11.2017, the entire proceedings in S.C.No.3 of 2016 on the file of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

learned District and Sessions Judge-II, Kanchipuram is quashed. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
